Work for IFCO
IFCO remains committed to expansion and continuing to improve the standards of Foster Care worldwide. We therefore welcome volunteers or new recruits to join our team.
Long-distance volunteers from any country are always welcome! Please write and tell us what you can offer at email@example.com
IFCO can also make use of your concern, knowledge, experience or expertise in Foster Care; you might consider applying to our Training Bureau, or participate in the making of our website, or magazine. Activities include: rewriting, contributing, sending information, updates and suggestions.
In any case, if you want to support and participate in IFCO, and help develop quality foster care around the world, write to us and us know about you.
Experts, trainers and consultants
IFCO's mission is to promote family-based solutions for out-of-home children, based on the United Nations Convention on the Right of the Child. As our mission becomes known we are asked to share our expertise by countries seeking to develop foster care and kinship care, to replace institutions.
In order to meet these requests we need a pool of committed people willing to share their expertise in other parts of the world. Accordingly IFCO has established a Training and Development Bureau to facilitate the exchange of information among persons of the world with a view to promoting the development of family care for all children.
We are committed to the development of a diverse pool of experts to reflect the abilities and competencies required. This would include experienced foster carers and young people who have been in care. Accordingly we are inviting any of our members who are interested to apply to become member of the Training and Development Bureau and to join its international pool of experts.
