Registration Types:

Adult Over 18s Registration (member/non member)

Participants will have full access to the conference. Member rate is available to all association members.

Youth Registration

Youth registration is available for those aged between 13 and 26. Those aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registrants will attend a separate youth programme and to be eligible you will need to provide your date of birth during the registration process.

Child Registration

Child registration is available for those aged up to 12 years and only when accompanied by an adult. The child will participate in a separate children’s programme. To qualify both the adult and child registration must be booked and paid for. The child’s date of birth is required during the registration process.

Family Registration

To book 2 adults and 2 youth/child tickets, please select the family registration during the process.

If you require 1 adult and 1 (or more) youth/child ticket(s) please select 1 Adult and Youth/Child Ticket(s) as the registration track.  The rates will be calculated based on the adult fees as well the youth/child fee.

Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa and Mastercard. All payments made must be in Pound Sterling (£). Payment by bank transfer will incur an additional administration fee of £30. All payments are inclusive of VAT (the current prevailing rate applies).

We would be delighted to welcome groups to the conference and are able to offer the following discounts:

Registration Terms and Conditions 

Payment Policy  

Payment can only be accepted by Visa or Mastercard.   

Should you require payment by bank transfer an additional administration fee of £30 will be charged.   

Payments are made payable ONLY to Conference Partners. Payment must be received by Conference Partners within two weeks of receipt of your invoice. If payment is NOT received within two weeks of receiving invoice, you may be subject to additional charges. Please include your name and ID number on the banking reference when paying via bank transfer.    

Registration Cancellation Policy:  

All cancellations are subject to a £30 administrative fee  

If cancelled before 28 April 2025 – 100% of the Conference fee is refundable  

If cancelled from 29 April to 5 May 2025 – 50% of the registration fee is refundable.   

No refunds are payable from 6 May 2025 onwards  

Please note if you pre-register and do not attend the conference you will be charged your participation fee.

Changes, substitutions and cancellations of registration:  

Substitutions/replacements can be made at any time and are subject to a £30 administrative fee.

Notification of changes or cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the IFCO 2025 Delegate Services Team IFCO2025@conferencepartners.ie

Cancellation and refund policy:  

All applicable refunds will be made after the conference.  

Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.  

Cancellation of the conference:

In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organisers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.  

Photography, audio recording and video recording:

Photography, audio recording and video recording may be taking place at the conference. The release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of this content will be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the conference and its affiliates and representatives. Please notify us if you wish to be removed from any such materials by emailing IFCO2025@conferencepartners.ie.

Code of Conduct:

This Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of delegates in any form. Inappropriate language and imagery are not acceptable to be included in presentations, workshops, networking forums and other online media. Conference delegates violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Accommodation

Glasgow Convention Bureau is the official accommodation provider for the conference and has negotiated specially discounted rates with a wide range of hotels.

Visa & ETA Requirements

Delegates may require a visa to attend IFCO 2025 in Glasgow.  You can apply for your visa three months before travel.  All up to date details can be found on the UK Home Office website.

Visitors to the UK who do not require a visa for short stays will need to obtain permission to travel through an electronic travel authorisation (ETA). It costs £10 to apply using the UK ETA app or online through GOV.UK. Other websites may charge more. Everyone travelling needs to get an ETA, including babies and children. Glasgow is one of Europe’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities. Travel to Glasgow

By Air

Glasgow is served by two International Airports with connections across the world.

Glasgow Airport  Connects Glasgow city centre with over 20 airlines serving 100 destinations worldwide including Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Europe, the Gulf as well as critical links to UK domestic and the Scottish islands.

With regular bus services to and from Glasgow Airport travelling by bus is a quick and efficient way to start your journey.

Glasgow Airport Express service 500 from stance 1 takes 15 minutes to arrive at Glasgow Buchanan bus station in the city centre. Buses operate every 12 minutes between 5am and Midnight every day.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is just 45 minutes from Glasgow city centre and offers many services from Ryanair, BH air, Freebird Airlines, Flybe and Wizz Air, as well as departures to Onur Ai.

Glasgow Prestwick is Scotland’s only rail-connected airport, which is accessible by a covered walkway to/from the airport terminal building. The journey from to Glasgow Prestwick to Glasgow Central Airport Station takes around 40 minutes. There are two trains an hour from approximately 6:00am to 00:15am – Sundays 09:00am to 11:00pm. All passengers traveling to and from the airport receive 50% discount on the standard fare by showing your flight confirmation to the train conductor when buying your ticket (there is no ticket office at Prestwick Airport).

Edinburgh Airport is located 40 miles (64 kilometres) from Glasgow City Centre and serves more than 150 national and international destinations including Amsterdam, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Paris, London, Dublin, Belfast, Geneva and Reykjavik as well as Dubai with its connections onwards to Asia and Australasia; and major cities in The US and Canada.

You can travel to and from Glasgow using the Citylink AIR Glasgow Service 900 to Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station. Departing every 30 minutes, Average journey time = 1 hour, Located at Stop D at Edinburgh Airport.

Trams run between Edinburgh airport and the main Edinburgh stations every 7 minutes. You can buy combined tickets for tram & train at the vending machines in the check-in hall – to purchase your ticket from Edinburgh Haymarket to Glasgow Queen Street Station.

Glasgow has an extensive road network. Glasgow is linked to Edinburgh with the M8, England on the M74, Stirling with the M80 and the West Coast of Scotland with the M77.

The university is easily accessible from Junction 16 (Westbound) or Junctions 15 & 17 (Eastbound) of the M8 motorway.

Although no parking is available on campus, the nearest car parks to the university are a short walk away:

Since June, 1 all vehicles entering the city centre zone area must meet the less-polluting emission standards or face a penalty charge. Some exemptions apply.

By Bus

Coach operators run services to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK.

Glasgow is well connected by train from across the UK by 2 main stations.

Glasgow Central station links to Glasgow and the south and Glasgow Queen Street Station operates mainly Edinburgh and the north.

Avanti West Coast runs several daily services to London with a journey time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

The Caledonian Sleeper connects London to Glasgow with overnight services.
